All about that bass: Low-frequency sounds make you dance more

When it comes to getting a boogie on, it is all about that bass. Using a specially designed research centre called LIVELab that uses motion sensors to detect movement in a replicated concert hall, a team led by Daniel Cameron at McMaster University in Canada found that very low-frequency bass, inaudible to human ears, increased dance movement by 12 per cent.
